I am a Licensed Professional (LPC) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the state of Colorado. As a trauma-informed Narrative therapist, I hold a belief that “we live our lives through the stories we tell about ourselves, and others tell about us.” My intention in the counseling room is to help clients discover how, when, and where their stories were created, and offer support in identifying and making desired changes. I have significant experience supporting individuals navigate open and Polyamorous relationships. I am Sex Positive, Kink and BDSM knowledgeable and affirming. My therapeutic approach is active and creative, often utilizing metaphor, experiential exercises, skill building, and harm reduction for those looking to address substance use and/or sexual health. Having previously worked in non-profit healthcare, I specialize in serving people living with or affected by HIV and chronic illness; the LGBTQ+ community; and individuals wanting to explore addiction(s), gender identity and sexuality, and/or depression and anxiety.
