With 30 years in practice, I hold licenses in Marriage and Family Therapy-Supervisor, Professional Counseling, Advanced Certification in sexual difficulties, Certification as a Weight Loss Specialist, Hypnotherapist and Therapeutic Breathwork Certification. I conducted and created training programs for therapists in several countries, including India and Europe and opened two counseling centers in Houston and Austin, Texas.My comfort and skill level as a clinician enables me to work with any kind of challenging situation you may face as an individual, couple or family. Other than my work, my passion is learning, advancing my skills as a therapist and being of service to people. I study and use many healing methods in order to individualize my approach to suit your needs. I work primarily with couples seeking increased intimacy, sexual connection and couples recovering from trauma in their relationships, I teach couples to hear, choose, understand each other and resolve conflict healthfully and productively. I use Imago, Gottman methods, Emotionally Focused methods and Brief Solution Focused Therapy with couples. For couples and individuals, I have studied extensively to help overcome anxiety, depression, disordered eating, PTSD, heal grief and loss, improve sleep and overcome exercise resistance. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, warm and compassionate presence to assist you in overcoming shame and self-criticism and increase self acceptance and forgiveness. I have studied with many spiritual teachers through out the Eastern and Western world and keep an open mind to support you in your own personal belief system and values. I established two successful counseling centers in Houston and Austin since beginning my career. I have trained with the best clinicians throughout the world and I am a Certified Professional Life Coach.
