I began my career as a Professionally trained midwife (Derby, England). I went on to become a Registered Nurse, working with Hospice and as a Psychiatric nurse with individuals recovering from a variety of psychiatric disabilities, and most notably, trauma recovery. I have studied with Jungian analyst Dr. Robert Bosnak (Cyberdreamwork.org, The Healing Sancturay, Santa Barbara , CA) since 2001, and am a certified Embodied Imagery Psychotherapist, with a Master of Arts degree from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA. My very varied background serves me well in creating a distinct and unique backdrop for my current psychotherapeutic work with individuals. Embodied Imagery (EI) Psychotherapy provides an integrative way of accessing deep levels of one's psyche, weaving together imagery, emotion, and physically-felt experience, as well as aiding one to open to new perspectives. Embodied Imagery work incorporates use of dreams, memory and imagery into a profound vehicle for healing and creative depth-work. I see a healthy, evolving sexuality and expanding eroticism at any spectrum of the adult life cycle, as a profound means of reclaiming and enhancing one's sense of creative power. Uncovering and expressing new areas of erotic life, as well as being true to one's Inner Self has a profound impact as well as healing potential in one's life and relationships. Exploration through Kink and opening into the many manifestations of one's erotic life allows and facilitates one's personal growth, the many aspects of our inner lives and interconnections with others. I also have extensive experience with Recovery programs following the 12 Step model. I currently worth via Skype with individuals from any area, and am opening a new office in Graham, NC in September, 2014.
