I am a queer licensed psychologist specializing in sexual health and gender identity concerns. I have specialized training and clinical experience in the areas of human sexuality and gender and would like to help you overcome whatever it is that interferes with your sexual, emotional, or relational health. I will work with you to create a safe and compassionate space where you can see yourself and your problem in a new light. Together we will examine how the problem came into your life, how it affects you, and how you might change your relationship with it. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in settings such as the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota Medical School, the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota Duluth student counseling center. I have been seeing clients at my private practice since 2011. I have experience working with clients with varied experiences and expressions of gender and sexualities both individually and with significant others. My doctoral research focused on how people address conflicts between sexual orientation and religious identity.
