Alternate Roots Counseling

Working with individuals dealing with a variety of challenges: grief, trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, low self-image, life transitions, difficulty in relationships or intimacy, self-identity questions, coming out, communication difficulties, etc I don't take insurance, but I do operate with a sliding scale that takes my service down to the range of your average insurance co-pay. Im a counselor in private practice. I believe that people have the answers to their challenges within themselves already. My job is to help them remove the obstacles that block their view of their own unique strengths and wisdom, so that they can find those answers. My heart is drawn to depth work, diving into the realm of metaphor and dreamscape, creating personal myth with clients that empowers them and gives them a more authentic space to live their life from. I see myself as an ally, midwife of the Soul, mirror, fellow traveler with my clients.
