Toni Solenne, Ed.D, is an experienced professional dedicated to meeting the emotional and social needs of our diverse ^Ccommunity. Dealing with prejudice, coming out to ones family, sorting out an "authentic sense of self in the face of social expectations and pressures all this can lead to higher levels of depression and anxiety for those individuals living alternative styles and/or for LBGT folks. The goal of counseling is to help the client clarify his/her thoughts and feelings and to explore various options or solutions, including specialist referrals, groups and/or counseling. Dr. Solenne creates and facilitates a variety of groups onsite as she feels they are needed in the community. Theme-centered groups such as coming-out groups, relationship groups, and older/younger women's/men's groups have been and will be offered.
