Emily Hodgkinson – UK therapist

I'm an experienced psychotherapist with UKCP accreditation, offering counselling & therapy for adult individuals and relationships of any type. An enduring interest and passion in my life and my work is around sexuality and relationships, and I've worked mostly with clients from a wide spectrum of sexual and gender diversities. I ran a counselling service at Leicester LGB&T Centre for a number of years, deliver training for Pink Therapy on Psychotherapy with Bisexual clients and am a founder member of Poly Counsellors UK. I'm also a trainer and organisational facilitator specialising in diversity, conflict & ecopsychology. I identify as bi, poly & kinky. I don't have extensive experience of working with kink issues but am firmly kink-affirmative, understanding that kink at its best can be many things: a psychologically healthy expression of our selves, a fast track for healing or personal development, or simply a lot of fun. I'm trained in Process-Oriented therapy which means I take a Taoist approach, tailoring to the client's needs, goals and style and taking each new situation as the teacher in any moment. I'm here not only to help you solve problems but also to support your growth and help you get in touch with your deepest nature.
