I am a Kink-Aware and experienced psychologist when it comes to understanding and working within non-conformist life-styles and sexualities, including - but not limited to - the LGBTQ and BDSM communities. While working within a wide range of issues, I have special expertise in (transgenerational) trauma, issues related to 'otherness' and stigma. I have a PhD from Germany (2008) and completed psychoanalytic training in New York City (2015). My background is in clinical psychology, psychoanalysis and the social sciences. I have widely published on issues of racism, anti-Semitism and sex/gender in professional journals and books. I provide individual psychotherapy in English and German (and am also fluent in French).
