Therapist

I offer therapy from a nonjudgmental, secular viewpoint. I have a compassionate and accepting approach to all clients, and I am very comfortable working with those marginalized for reasons around their sexuality (i.e. LGBTQ and Alternative folks), as well as religion (including Atheists, and those choosing to leave their religion). Therapy interventions I offer include solution focused techniques, mindfulness, acceptance based practice, as well as traditional psychotherapy. I hold degrees in both Peace and Conflict Studies as well as Clinical Psychology. In my studies, I learned a variety of techniques that I am able to teach clients in improving their life and overall happiness whether working with an individual, a couple, or a family. A Michigan limited license permits practice under the supervision of a Michigan licensed Psychologist. Psychotherapy services provided under the supervision of Dr. Margery Adelson.
