I also specialize in sex therapy. Sex therapy covers a broad number of topics and nothing is left out. I am a sex-positive, kink-friendly therapist. Therapy can help an individual, couple, and family find a way to use their strengths to work on improving their growth areas. In therapy, I practice research-informed techniques to help my clients navigate the sometimes overwhelming problems affecting them. I use techniques from various models of therapy including Narrative, Emotionally-Focused, Systemic, and Cognitive-Behavioral. Since a lifetime of a problem can't be solved in only an hour a week, I will also give homework assignments including readings, journal prompts, assessments, exercises, and practicing new tools discussed in sessions.
