Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I have nearly 20 years of clinical experience with a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology and a PhD in General Psychology. My post graduate training has been focused on trauma, mindfulness, body centered psychotherapy, and currently I'm working towards certification in a multidisciplinary approach to sex therapy. My work with clients is further influenced by attachment theories, feminism + equality, and research (I'm a science geek!). I'm also a Professor of Psychology at Montgomery College, and I coordinate the Women's & Gender Studies program on the Germantown Campus. I want you to have great sex, and great relationships. Sexuality and relationships are complex, and sex therapy is not just about sex. Great sex is more more about your relationship with yourself and others than it is about technique. I use a sex-positive approach and work with straight, gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals and couples of any lifestyle. I'm direct and have a great sense of humor. I also have a Long Island accent (I've tried to get rid of it, but it's not happenin').
