I am a kink knowledgeable psychotherapist living in the Philadelphia, PA Region. I am passionate about my work as a psychotherapist because it allows me the opportunity to help many incredible, resilient people reach their fullest potential. I am a firm believer that we are all capable of achieving incredible things in order to live our heart's desires. Often times we get stuck and can no longer hear the truth that is within us. Therapy done in a trustworthy, caring, and safe environment can open the door to an opportunity for self-exploration and help us hear our truth. We all need someone to talk with who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgment. I believe that compassion, understanding, and trust are important in the therapeutic process. I strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow as well as become reconnected to their strengths and dreams. My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I address the whole person and utilize modalities of treatment that fit the individual needs of clients. People's core beliefs and values are prime movers and sources of energy in their lives. Helping them identify and integrate these central meanings into the counseling process provides the direction and sustainability needed to grow in fulfilling ways. I am trained in a variety of approaches that allow me to customize the therapy session to best meet your needs. I am a LGBTQA affirming therapist and Kink knowledgeable professional. I have experience and training in power dynamic relationships, sex therapy, alternative lifestyles, grief issues, mood and personality disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and life changes.
