Amy Marsh, the instructor, is a clinical sexologist, AASECT-certified sexuality counselor, certified hypnotist (CH), and certified hypnosis instructor (CI) through the NGH.
Professional training in Hypnosis for Sexual Concerns--online, 150 hours (15 weeks). Live and recorded lectures, home study. Pre-requisite: 100 hours of hypnosis training and/or certification. International students welcome.
This curriculum--based on extensive literature searches and clinical practice--weaves together insights from clinical sexology, hypnosis theory and practice, human sexuality studies, gender studies. and intersectionality. The course is inclusive of LGBTQIA+ people and issues, aging, disability, kink, non-monogamy, etc. Students will learn how to: address a variety of sexual dysfunctions and concerns with hypnosis and autogenic training; teach clients how to use erotic hypnosis for their own personal sexual and intimacy enrichment; offer additional mind-body skills for stress reduction; plus ethics and counseling competencies.

Amy Marsh, founder of the Intimate Hypnosis Training Center (IHTC) is also the course designer and instructor. She has taught Hypnosis for Sexual Problems as a certificate course at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) and later through the IHTC. She has also trained many professional hypnotists. She is an experienced educator, both online and off, and has presented at many conferences, including AASECT (1x), American Counseling Association Pre-Conference Learning Institutes (2x), Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity (2x), CatalystCon West (1), Gender Spectrum (3x), and Gender Odyssey (1x). She has appeared on national TV in the U.S. and Australia.
Dr. Marsh holds a Doctor of Education in Human Sexuality (Ed.D., 2011) & Doctor of Human Sexuality (DHS, 2008) from IASHS, which is sadly no longer operational.
