I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Idaho and Utah. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art and from Boise State University with a Masters in Social Work. I shave worked with individuals experiencing crisis, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, addiction, trauma, issues relating to sex and sexuality. I have a special interest in Positive Sexuality, empowerment, and addiction. My clients have included children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group sessions.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, and I tailor my sessions to individual client needs and preferences. My hope is to empower clients in their mental health journey. I have experience with Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness based therapy, and somatic and body based approaches. I believe in a creative approach to psychotherapy and in client determination with regards to their treatment.
I am a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, polyamory-friendly and kink-knowledgeable therapist. I am deeply passionate about helping clients with issues and concerns related to sexuality and identity. I am knowledgeable about kink/BDSM and informed with polyamory/ethical non-monogamy.
Art and music tend to find a place in my office. I was born in New York and raised in Boise, Idaho. When not in the office you can find me climbing, hiking, biking, creating art, and playing the guitar. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my corgi-mix Joey. I love researching and learning about kink on a personal and professional level.
