Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

I specialize in trauma, Veteran/Military issues, addictions, athletes, and anxiety. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in the state of North Carolina. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Campbell University. I am a US Air Force Veteran and married to a US Marine Corps Veteran. I have worked with children and adults who have dealt with many different types of trauma and understand there are many layers to each traumatic experience. I am a rostered NC Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist and also utilize Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR) techniques. Previously, I have worked in community mental health with adolescents who had experienced complex sexual trauma and traumatic grief. While trauma certainly plays a large part in some lives, I understand the difference between sexual play and sexual trauma. I know these two are not always linked, and know that any issues we talk about might not even relate to your kink or relationship style. My goal is to explore any concerns you may have, while also providing a comfortable space to be yourself.
