I offer couples and relationship therapy from a contemplative, systems-focused framework--I offer compassion in the moment and help partners take a wide view to identify patterns and dynamics impacting their current relationship. My training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) helps me see painful cycles and offer new ways of relating to one another. Both of these approaches are informed by attachment theory and trauma theory.
I graduated from Naropa University's Masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy and went on to pursue a post graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Family Institute. I also have additional training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
I am passionate about creating a space for radical self-compassion and healing. My training in contemplative therapy means that I firmly believe that each individual possesses the inherent wisdom to heal from pain. I have a strong desire to help clients navigate webs of power, privilege, and oppression. I work to create an environment of radical inclusivity for clients of all genders, sexual orientations, races, cultures, faiths, sizes, and lifestyles and I am a kink and poly aware therapist. I have particular interest and experience working with folks in the LGBTQIA+ community and with folks practicing non-traditional relationship structures.
