My passion is helping people discover their strengths in order to overcome the obstacles preventing them from living the lives they desire.
I specialize in working with men who are looking to decrease shame and increase vulnerability. Current Western culture often makes it difficult for men to communicate their emotions effectively and this can lead to difficulty in interpersonal relationships and how the Self is perceived.
Many of my clients are “creatives” – people who engage with the world in a creative and exploratory way. Creativity comes in many forms – web design, marketing concepts, visual art, music, textile work, dance, podcasting, photography, yoga, culinary arts, creative writing, filmmaking, journalism…the list could go on forever. I utilize my clinical training in art therapy to help my clients understand and express themselves in the way that feels best to them.
If you are reading this and thinking, “That’s nice, but I don’t have a creative bone in my body!” Let me ask you – Does your job require you to solve problems? Do you enjoy teaching people about things? Do you play sports? Do you keep a journal? – If you answered yes - then you are creative!
As your therapist, I will help you identify and utilize the strengths you already have in order to work through whatever issue has made you click on this page today.
