Carolyn works primarily with adults, and has experience working with chemical dependency, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ folks, life transitions, people in non-traditional relationship models (such as polyamory and people belonging to kink communities) and mood disorders.
In addition to a person-centered approach, she also incorporates social justice principles, harm reduction principles, intersectional feminism, and Health at Every Size principles into her work with clients.
As a therapist, Carolyn enjoys bringing laughter, curiosity, honesty, and realness into sessions with clients. Carolyn welcomes you and your full self, and is here to explore with you. Carolyn is working under the supervision of Sue Rau, LICSW, while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
