I provide individual and couple’s therapy. I am often asked if I have sessions with people who aren’t having difficulties with sex. The answer is a resounding yes because sex therapy is almost never about the mechanics of sex but rather about the relationship to others, to yourself, and to your context.
My goal is to figure out what you want and why (because that sometimes changes what you want) and what is getting in the way of you having what you want.
The barriers we experience are often the wounding we have. This wounding comes from the relationships we have or have had or the meaning we make out of the things that have happened to us.
I have many tools in my toolbox to help you overcome these barriers. I use techniques that will address your thinking, behavior, feelings, relationships and wounding.
Therapy doesn’t have to be a long term commitment. You can do a one time consultation where we can understand the problem and what needs to be done in order to move forward. I will provide you with a list of things that need to be worked on and tools to use.
