I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I use an integrative approach to therapy to meet clients where they are, and I approach therapy from a Narrative perspective. I believe that we all have stories about ourselves that we have learned over time. For those pursuing change in our lives, I believe it’s important to be able to take control of one’s own story, to tell it our own way.
I work with adults dealing with anxiety and depression, gender dysphoria, trauma, grief, and potentially co-occurring substance use disorders. I also work with couples and families looking to change the patterns in their relationships to build trust and support. I am a member of WPATH in good standing, and have been trained in assessments and letters of support and referral for gender affirming care. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and have training in grief counseling. I believe that an important part of recovery, resiliency, and one’s ability to thrive is the ability to understand what an event in one’s life means, accept its impact, and change how we respond.
