The couples, partners, and individuals I work with have various presenting concerns and intersecting identities, but many of them are Latinx/Latina, polyamorous, kinky, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and QTPOC. I am passionate about supporting folks who have experienced personal, systemic, sexual, and relational difficulties due to traumatic life events (including systemic oppression) with somatic modalities and techniques to help increase regulation, pleasure, intimacy, ease, and sexual wellness.
I am trained as a Marriage & Family Therapist and a Certified Brainspotting Therapist. I am passionate about using attachment-focused and advanced brain & body-based approaches informed by Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic therapies to help clients identify, process, release, and heal from stored negative and traumatic experiences and symptoms. These forms of therapy are highly relational and I will be curious, authentic, compassionate, and human, while situated within the context of a strongly attuned and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I enjoy using brainspotting to support folks looking to build stronger sex and intimacy experiences and with creative types (like artists & actors) looking to expand their creativity and performances. I hold a Masters's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Purdue University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Art Therapy from Capital University, and a Certificate in Sex Therapy from U of Wisconsin-Stout
