Do you struggle to feel in control of your life? Many disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD can make it feel as if your mental health difficulties are controlling you. Together we can work to find healthy measures of control that allow you to create a life that works for you. Through an eclectic approach, we will identify strategies and interventions that are specialized towards your unique needs to find the right intervention to help you achieve your goals.
My practice is focused on a straightforward but empathetic strategy, with a healthy dose of sarcasm and humor. This allows clients to feel seen and heard while allowing space for growth and change. We can empower you to work to increase your autonomy and allow you to feel confident in being able to enact lasting change in your life. While I have a wide variety of experience, my recent work is mainly with OCD, mood disorders, anxiety, sexual difficulties, and effects of trauma. I have a profound respect for individuals that have survived the unthinkable, and desire to regain control of their lives. I offer a safe space to identify your needs and difficulties and helps create a plan to make meaningful changes using an interactive approach.
I am a queer provider that enjoys working with the queer and kink communities. I have specialized training in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for individuals with OCD.
When not working, I spend most of my time reading and playing video games. I volunteer at a cat shelter and also like hiking, rock climbing, and playing strategy board games.
