Emotions, behaviors, and the thoughts we have can be difficult to manage at times. I assist clients on understanding where their emotions and/or behaviors stem from. I also help in tracking your thoughts, understanding your thoughts, and if needed challenging your thoughts. All of this helps in guiding you down the path you want to go, including reaching certain goals and improving your relationships with friends, family, co-workers, and significant others.
I take a systemic approach to counseling, which just means I help you view what influences you internally and externally. I use evidence-based techniques modified to each client to make our sessions as comfortable and beneficial as possible.
