Hi! I'm Fai (pronounced /fay/). It's hard to navigate a world that was built against your needs. As a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent person of color, I recognize how interlocking systems of oppression impact one's life/wellbeing. I aim to hold space for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC folx, and those affected by fatphobia, xenophobia, ableism, or the White supremacist capitalist patriarchy. Together, we can untangle experiences of marginalization, complex trauma, and difficulties from depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, gender dysphoria, etc. I also work with adult adoptees on adoption/separation trauma. I have the most experience with queer and trans folks and am sex worker, kink, and poly affirming. Aside from 1 year of clinical experience with queer/trans folks, I worked in mental health for 3 years with all ages across many settings.

I conceptualize mental health and marginalization through social models — you are not defective, society lacks adequate structures of support. With a non-pathologizing approach, I help folx develop authenticity, self-advocacy, boundaries, and coping skills. Within the trans community specifically, I provide gender-affirming surgery assessments and letters.
I have sliding scale spots ($0-$55/hr) for self-pay clients with marginalized identities (BIPOC & LGBTQ, disabled) and financial insecurity. If we choose to work together, our relationship will center collaboration, consent, and autonomy in each step. I want you to feel empowered in the care you receive.
