After two decades of working in corporate finance, I made the leap to counseling and could not be happier. My ideal client is a human who is struggling to make sense out of all this craziness who is looking for an equally whackadoodle counselor who can sit alongside through all the hard and ugly stuff. I do not have a perfect life; I don't have much figured out. What I do know, though, is that being in the presence of another human being who unconditionally accepts you and sees your worth is healing. That attachment experience heals old wounds like nothing I've ever seen before.
