I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Gainesville, Florida. I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, Anxiety, OCD, and Trauma.
As a nonbinary, Queer person who has personal connections to the kink/BDSM and ENM communities, I particularly want to position myself as a resource to these often misunderstood and marginalized groups. I know first-hand, that it can be intimidating to reach for professional help when there is fear of being misunderstood for my relationship dynamics or having to put more effort into educating my counselor then receiving help. My first priority is to ensure that my clients can feel safe and be authentically themselves in our space together.
I'm also a big nerd (like many of us are in these communities!) and love bringing in things like D&D, anime, or whatever interest you may have to the counseling space. It can be hard and vulnerable work, but it can also be made fun!
