My main areas of focus are sex, anxiety, and trauma. It is my goal to provide a safe space for topics that many may find awkward or taboo and are unsure how to discuss and explore them in more depth. Whether those topics are related to sexual orientation, kink, polyamory, satisfaction, or sexual difficulty, I am sensitive and allied to those needs in a safe and ethical manner. I actively continue educating myself on concepts to maintain competency in meeting clinical needs in these topics. If you are struggling with anxiety, trauma symptoms, or identity, I work with you to develop a plan that effectively meets your needs.
It is important to me to use an approach that best fits you and your needs. I begin with a person-centered approach to work with you identify your needs. I'll then tailor my approach based on this. Approaches I commonly use include Cognitive Behavior, Acceptance Commitment, Dialectical Behavioral, and other evidenced- and trauma- informed approaches.
I would be honored to work with you to identify, understand, and potentially meet your therapeutic needs. If you are not sure what those are, we can figure out your goals along the way. While my first goal is to be supportive and listen, I will also provide the accountability and encouragement for you to construct your best life.
