Peer Counseling offers a therapeutic space to process and work through goals/issues. This type of counseling can also offer opportunities such as the choice to decenter the DSM, while dismantling certain authority and power structures within your mental health care. Personal history, self-study, and years of practice will be used to promote safety, wellbeing, and healing.

Peer support is unlicensed support, noting the importance of shared lived experience, empathetic listening, and compassion. You do not need to live in TN to receive this support. Zoom or FaceTime are the virtual platforms typically used for the 50 minute sessions. Sessions are also offered to couples, polycules, etc. Intake forms are to be completed before starting.
