2020 marked a turning point. After 28 years dedicated to advocating for children and families as an attorney, the pandemic's pause prompted a deep introspection. Through the healing power of therapy, I began to unravel the complexities of my own life's journey - a journey marked by diverse roles and experiences.
It became clear that my legal career and personal path were converging towards a new purpose: becoming a therapist. My passion for fostering meaningful connection and advocating for those navigating the justice system had ignited a desire to facilitate healing and growth for others.
In January 2022, I embarked on a Master's Degree in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Colorado, Denver.
