I’m a radically silly, sentimental, and curious artist, musician, and clinical psychologist. I am queer and nonbinary. These facets of my identity and personality inevitably color how I show up in the therapeutic relationship, though we don’t need to share any/all of these identities to connect and do incredible work. My areas of clinical strength include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, non-monogamy, identity development, personality disorders, PTSD, and complex trauma. I have particular interest in working with young adults, graduate students, non-traditional students, artists, and queer, trans, and questioning folks. I believe therapy is not only an incredibly personal and valuable experience, but a new and powerful relationship.
I utilize the therapeutic relationship itself as the primary vessel for healing. We can use it to undo the aloneness that comes from life’s adversities so that you can feel connected, empowered, authentic, and supported within yourself and your relationships.
I want to explore your interpersonal and emotional patterns, sociocultural identities and contexts, personality, humor, strengths, and unique quirks. Together, we will use all of those parts of yourself to build awareness, acceptance, and love for your truest and most authentic self, so you can be more creative and adaptive when handling surprises life throws your way.
I am also one of the co-leaders of the Queer Process Group at Center Focused Therapy.
I currently take BCBS PPO, BlueChoice PPO, Aetna, United Health, and CampusCare. I also offer sliding scale rates starting at $43/session.
