Business Description
Asking for help can be intimidating, but it can also be a sign of tremendous strength. Therapy can be a healing and empowering process to help you reach your own solutions to the problems you face. I like to take a collaborative approach in therapy and see myself as a supportive partner in your therapeutic process rather than an expert imparting knowledge. We will examine how you reached the point you are at, what might be keeping you “stuck”, and work to develop the tools, strategies, and plans to help you move forward on a path of your own choosing.
As a queer individual and self-identified nerd, I have a strong interest in working with the LGBTQ+ and geek/nerd communities to help explore how our various identities intersect with our sense of self and impact current life circumstances. I have over 600 hours as a clinical intern, and have worked at both The Montrose Center and The Menninger Clinic.
When not counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two goldendoodles, and cat. I’m also an avid volleyball player, anime/comic book nerd, and collector of hobbies.
