I believe in the power of caring relationships, and I prioritize service, lovingkindness, and transformative justice in my work. I utilize feminist interventions to support others in translating awareness into actionable change. My approach is insight, depth, and systems oriented, and I’m primarily influenced by liberation psychology, contemplative philosophy, and harm reduction. I have also completed training in S.A.F.E. (Somatic/Safety and Attachment Focused EMDR) and Brainspotting, and I'm currently working towards CCTP certification for trauma.
I view mental health treatment as a personal right and collective imperative, and I’m honored to have the privilege of accompanying people on various parts of their journeys. Our sessions will be pragmatic and easygoing, but I’m direct and won’t shy away from difficult topics. I love stories, metaphors, and riddles, and I like to use humor to add levity to conversation. I often use books, somatics, podcasts, art, music, and journaling to supplement my work too.
In my free time, you can often find me curled up with a book or word game, a mocktail, and my 2 Siamese rescue cats. I enjoy vegan baking, geocaching, slow fashion, dance, live music, art crawls, trivia, puzzles, and Roadside America.
