Renaldo G. Wilson (he/his) has over 20 years of experience working in the health field, both in the private and public sectors. He is passionate about equity and anti-oppression.

Renaldo has degrees in Jazz Performance, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, and Comparative Near Eastern Religions and Philosophies. His certifications include Functional Nutrition, Diabetes Education, Prenatal/Postpartum Exercise, Peri/Postmenopause Nutrition, and Corrective Exercise Techniques, among many others. Previous speaking engagements include Trauma-Informed Care in clinical care, culturally competent nutrition, and sexual health & aging.

He has worked as the Program Director for NUPAC (Nicotine Use Prevention and Control) for New Mexico’s Department of Health and the National Equity Engagement Officer for the Tobacco Control Network (TCN). He was formerly a Health Educator, Cessation Specialist, and Clinical Exercise Physiologist for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. In 2020, he served as a  Health Education Manager for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. He taught for years as an adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California. His courses included Human Nutrition and Metabolism, Exercise Physiology, and World Music and Culture. He served on the board of Echo Training, Los Angeles.
