People do not have problems outside of context; we are all struggling to exist in a neoliberal capitalist system that is not designed to support our mental health or wellness. Helping my clients to understand how systems of oppression impact their functioning is critically important to shifting from self-blame to healing and action in support of a more just world for all. I have an anti-racist, intersectional feminist lens in my work, and social justice is deeply important to me. I work with a wide range of clients struggling with many different issues, but have a particular focus on working with trans and gender diverse clients, other members of the LGBTQ community, kinky folks, college and graduate students, and people in polyamorous relationship structures. I am also passionate about working with fellow therapists and therapists in training!
