At TLK Psychological Services, we are committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and inclusive environment for individuals navigating the complexities of life. Our practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and kink-aware, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of each individual and members of diverse communities.
We utilize an integrative client centred approach and have training in clinical psychology, clinical sexology and relationship therapy. The therapies and techniques we utilize include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), narrative exposure therapy (NET) and schema therapy. This enables us to provide compassionate support for a wide range of presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, bereavement, addiction, career challenges, and confidence/self-esteem issues as well as for sexual functioning difficulties such as erectile dysfunction, painful penetration, difficulty reaching orgasm, vaginismus, and delayed/early ejaculation.
With a focus on holistic personalized care we empower clients to embrace their authentic selves and build fulfilling relationships. Our goal is to offer clients the tools to thrive in all aspects of their lives, overcome challenges, heal from trauma, and build fulfilling, balanced lives.
