Mia graduated from SCSU’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program and has been practicing therapy since 2022.
Mia is deeply curious about the narratives, relationships, and systems that make you, you! She will honor your patterns and protective mechanisms, and then support you to release and replace them.
She believes in creating a gentle, open space in which she uses humor (and swearing), authenticity, patience, and your own strengths to help change occur. Mia is passionate about somatic work (the practice of using body awareness and physical techniques to manage and reduce symptoms). She adores resources and will help you obtain a full, personalized toolbox of coping skills that work for you.
She welcomes all relationship types, gender identities, and sexual orientations. She believes it is always possible to show up differently for yourself and others.
