As a licensed mental health professional in the state of California I am able to work with California residents utilizing tele-health technologies (phone/video) and offer in-person sessions at my San Francisco location. I have speciality working within the intersections of addiction treatment, relational recovery, gender and sexuality, and enhancing health and wellness. My approach values depth, curiosity, the experiential, collaboration, sociocultural competence, a sense of humor, compassion, and realness.

I work with individuals and groups that are historically pathologized. I am dedicated to working with individuals with gender identity and expression concerns (gender queer and transgender) sexual identity and expression concerns (gay, lesbian, bisexual); and relationship structure concerns (polyamory, open relationships, and consensual non-monogamous) relationships. My counseling style identifies the connection between emotions, behavior choices, and outcomes. I also received a Doctorate in Social Work from USC as well. I have been a social worker since 2013 and have worked with various populations including children, veterans, families and incarcerated people. My approach to therapy is to guide you in identifying the root cause of the feelings and symptoms you are currently experiencing. By identifying this, we will work together on thought processes and behaviors that are keeping you “stuck.” With the root cause identified, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques in order to adapt, change or develop new coping skills and thoughts.
