We offer Mental Health Counseling Services only. Here is a list of services currently provided: Anxiety Therapy, Depression Therapy, Stress Management, Grief/Bereavement Counseling, Relationship Therapy, Therapy for Open and Non-monogamous relationships, Therapy for Caregivers, Therapy for Entrepreneurs & Business Owners - Entrepreneurial mental health, LGBTQ and BIPOC inclusive therapy. We are a Kink Friendly, poly friendly, affirmative practice. All services are offered online for Telehealth sessions only.

I am a sexuality educator and relationship & sexuality coach with nearly a decade of experience. I specialize in sexual communication, polyamory, non-monogamy, open relationships, kink, BDSM, and LGBTQAI issues.

I provide a safe space for reflection and creative expression to help my clients move towards self-discovery while overcoming difficult life experiences. I partner with those who experience depression and anxiety to ease symptoms and find a path forward. Our journey together begins with us building a clearer vision of your dreams for the future. Using a person-centered approach, where I work to understand your unique perspective and situation, I will help you see your strengths and values, and to find your voice. Additionally, I teach behavioral strategies to provide tangible solutions to your challenges.

Mary K Hammerstein is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working under supervision, with couples, polycules, families, and individuals navigating nonmononormative, kink, and sexual minority relationships in-person in South County, and virtually throughout the Rhode Island.

Renew Health & Wellness is an integrated mental health clinic offering counseling services by our therapists and behavioral health team. An increasing number of our locations also integrate psychiatric medicine, yoga, wellness coaching, herbalism, cranial electrotherapy, hypnotherapy, psychological testing, biofeedback, nutritional counseling and amino acid therapies.
Treatment plans may be integrated by our team of mental health professionals using empirically-based interventions – according to the patients personal healing and wellness goals. We may use just one of these therapies or integrate several of them into treatment and wellness plans if clinically indicated. Each service provided is done in the context of caring for the whole person – understanding mind, body, and spirit are connected and affect each other in our journey toward wellness and healing.
