I am a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) since 2014, and one of only two Certified Sex Therapists in Edmonton. I have experience in helping couples and individuals navigate alternative sexual expression and relationships as a Registered Psychologist since 2012. I also conduct workshops on sexuality and have appeared in the media on television, radio, and in print. I'm a freelance journalist who primarily covers authority, law, and science, though I've dipped my toes into public health as well. As a freelancer, I can ensure potential stories about stigmatized topics such as sex work, polyamory, or BDSM are only taken to publications with a reputation for covering the topics respectfully. I have personal experience in many of these areas as well, even acting as a local organizer to help some spaces operate more safely. I am physically located in Alberta, Canada, but many topics can be written about long-distance, so please don't hesitate to pass on a tip even if the story isn't located where I live.
