Karina is a psychologist and a couples- and sex therapist who was born in Denmark but raised in Belgium. She has lived in several other countries and speaks Danish, Dutch, German and English fluently.

She studied psychology and systemic psychotherapy in Belgium and later studied sex therapy in Germany, where she also works now. Apart from her clinical work, she teaches and writes, and has published several books for health professionals on how to have better and more inclusive conversations on sexuality related issues.

She is known in the LGBTQ+ community for her open and norm questioning approach, and is a kink aware therapist.

Circle of Trust Therapy offers face-to-face counselling, hypnotherapy, and life coaching within Oxfordshire and surrounding districts; I also offer skype/online counselling and coaching worldwide. As a kink-knowledgeable therapist I have worked extensively with a range of clients who self-identify as living a kink/fetish lifestyle and/or do not conforming to typical gender stereotypes. I have worked with these clients both for issues relating to their sexual/gender identity and also clients who just happen to have day-to-day issues and want a therapist that can accept them for who they are. I have significant experience dealing with submissives/bottoms who question the safety of their existing relationships and also with members of the BDSM community who have pressures caused by conflicting needs of their true self and the world in which they live. All therapy is client-led, non-judgemental and, of course, completely confidential.

I’m a psychologist, social worker and systemic consult (DGSF, in training), I offer professional online counseling that covers topics such as open relationships, relationship anarchy, polyamory, sex-positive lifestyle, as well as topics such as BDSM and fetish.

I am a sex-positive, BDSM and Kink knowledgeable psychotherapist and am familiar working with a wide range of relationship models and gender dynamics. I work with people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, including individuals from queer, poly and kink communities, sex workers, and people who identify across the gender spectrum.

I specialise in working with eczema, anxiety and neurodivergent clients. I work by video, phone and email with adults (18+) across the UK. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, sex positive, poly/ENM, kink and swinger friendly, body and fat positive.

I draw on my interdisciplinary training and lived experience to create a unique psychology informed coaching model.

Within the context of executive coaching and mentoring I am comfortable working with a wide range of life, work and wellbeing situations. I blend psychological, psychodynamic and executive coaching techniques to put the person at the centre of a relational model. This might also involve group, family or organisational coaching.

In addition, I welcome the opportunity to work with neurodiversity, specific learning difficulties, and other constructs of disability within the coaching frame. I would be comfortable with the additional title of ADHD coach, but I find it slightly restrictive. ADHD is not the only form of neurodiversity that can benefit from the co-thinking approaches of psychology informed coaching.
