Therapy at its best is creative and collaborative. I often work with individuals who have been in therapy before, but hadn't found the right therapist for them. Most of the people I work with identify as a part of the LGBTQ community, and many find that their practices of kink and/or polyamory to be integral to self-expression, self-satisfaction and their politics. Often these individuals have had therapists who were "supportive," but weren't savvy enough to be able to work with these healthy expressions of identity on a deeper level. I am expert and experienced with both the LGBTQ community, with a post-graduate certificate in LGBTQ Affirmative Psychotherapy, and take non-judgmental, knowledgeable approach to kink and/or polyamory. I have a background in the arts, and often work with artists and creative individuals. I am not currently on any insurance panels, but am able to be an out-of-network provider and will provide you with an invoice for reimbursement. I work with a sliding scale and have a network of colleagues I refer people when it's not the right fit.
