I understand that healthy sexuality does not have to fall in a "vanilla" category and that non-monogamy and non-heteronormative forms of relationships and sexual identity and expression can be perfectly healthy. Having a healthy sexual relationship with yourself is often a journey through dismantling stigma and embracing yourself as a sexual being. Having a healthy sexual relationship with yourself makes someone much more available to having a healthy sexual relationship with other. I have been providing therapy services for over 13 years. I have worked in a variety of settings since 2002 including college counseling centers, a substance abuse treatment center, community mental health centers, a correctional facility, adolescent group homes, and in private practice. My formal training and professional experiences have given a depth and breadth of knowledge and skill in individual, couples, and group therapy approaches. I have had the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of age ranges (16 and up) with various concerns, and treatment methods. Throughout my extensive clinical experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for and satisfaction in working with my clients. I have prized the opportunity to be an integral part of their healing, growth, and development. I am kink-knowledgeable psychologist and have provided therapeutic services to individuals who participate in various communities in the lifestyle. Just as each person is unique, each client's experience in therapy will be a unique process. I try to match treatment approaches to the individual client and their concerns. I believe that effective care is given when the whole-person is engaged in the therapeutic process.
