I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Certified Life Coach, Community Health Worker, and Sex Geek. Sex Geek: n. 1. Someone who takes pride in learning, applying and spreading throughout their life accurate sexual health information, effective communication skills, and pragmatic relationship know-how regardless of sexual identity and practices. 2. Term made popular by self-proclaimed sex geek and relationship expert, Reid Mihalko. I am a Kink Knowledgeable Therapist and Sex & Relationship Coach who has personal and professional experience with non-monogamous/poly relationships as well as BDSM/Kink community. I have been an advocate for the GLBT community since the mid-80's. I particularly enjoy helping individuals, couples, and moresomes work through issues related to personal relationships, sexual identity, sexual expression, and sexual relationships. I have extensive training and experience working with persons of all races, socio-economic classes, religions, genders, orientations and relationship configurations. All identities are welcomed and embraced. Specific areas of interest are communication skills, self-esteem, body positivity, sex positivity, GLBT advocacy, and accurate sexual health information. During therapy and coaching, I primarily use Solution Focused Therapies to help the client(s) realize their best hopes, dreams, desires and to describe them in full and glorious details so that change may occur. I offer a short free consultation over the phone to see if we are a good match for working with one another. If finances are a hardship, you may complete an application for my sliding-scale-fee to help with budgetary concerns.
