I see adults for individual psychotherapy. I specialize in sexual concerns, romantic relationship difficulties, and working with LGBTQ+ clients. I'm experienced in working with clients who practice BDSM, identify as kinky, and/or have fetishes. I've worked with clients of various relationship types/styles, including monogamous, polyamorous, swinging, and open relationships. It has been a dream of mine to become a therapist since I was about 11 years old and have lived in Austin for almost my entire life.

I may not know exactly how you feel, but I understand that you want to feel differently--about yourself, about your relationship, about your life. I welcome individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges including stress, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, parenting, unresolved familial conflict, and the general "stuck" feeling. I believe that with my understanding of people and your understanding of you, we can work together to address these challenges. While I often see those who want help with more common life challenges, I also welcome individuals who are facing the difficulties of unique situations like long-distance relationships, living with parents as an adult, or even the most complex circumstances that some may find difficult to understand. While sex therapy is an additional specialty of mine, I am intentionally listed on this database because I believe clients should be comfortable being themselves in a therapy session, and that includes who they are sexually. While your concern may or may not be related to your sexual preferences, you deserve to be accepted wholly during your counseling journey.

I assist poly/kinky people with everything from working on relationship dynamics to self-acceptance (getting past society's imposed shaming) and much more. I am a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria, where I earned a Master's of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with various client populations in both inpatient and private practice settings. I have a particular interest in working with both couples and individuals who are experiencing difficulty with sexual intimacy. I attended the Texas Sex Therapy Institute, where I have completed my course work specializing in the area of sex therapy. I have knowledge and experience working with various alternate lifestyles including kink, poly, fet and open relationships. I am currently a candidate to become a certified sex therapist. In addition to sex therapy, I also provide EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to assist my clients in processing through trauma.` I believe all individuals regardless of lifestyle, age, or gender have the right to happy and healthy relationships. I have a strong belief in promoting a sex positive attitude, and enjoy assisting my clients with discovering healthy sexuality.

I work with individuals and couples on issues with self-acceptance. I understand how kink, polyamory, and BDSM can be difficult to openly discuss in relationships, or even self-accept. As a sex-positive therapist, I work to help people practice authenticity. There can be a great deal of shame that goes along with kink, and non-traditional relationship styles. I am an AASECT approved Certified Sex Therapist. I work to help people uncover themselves sexually, while communicating this to those who they can trust.
