I am a kink aware counsellor in private practice in the Centre of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As well as working with many common life problems, such as depression, low self esteem, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work related stress and trauma, I provide support and counselling to individuals and couples for whom kink is a part of their lives. Sometimes clients wish the counselling to focus on their kink and questions they may have about how it may be impacting on their life. Other clients may wish to focus on other issues that are not directly related to their sexuality, but because kink is part of their identity, they prefer to work with a kink-knowledgeable therapist. Our premises in Central Sheffield are easily accessible and I can usually see new clients within 14 days of an initial enquiry. Our standard fee is £40 per session, or £50 for couples counselling. Some discounted places are held for those on a low income.

Sophia offers relationship coaching and counselling by skype to clients based in the UK and Ireland. Outside of these locations she is only able to offer coaching support. She works on a sliding scale fees. Sophia is open to engaging in written forms of online counselling or coaching that may be more accessible to some clients. This kind of counselling may be synchronous or asynchronous and would be at a similar cost to her skype counselling and coaching. She offers a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs and to determine whether we are a good fit to work together.
